More Powerful Electric Dirt Bike for Young Riders

The Arctic Leopard E·20Y is a lightweight children's electric dirt bike designed for young riders who have already mastered basic cycling or electric balance bike riding and want to move on to a faster and more capable off-road machine.

The E·20Y model combines low weight, simple electric drive control, and proportions adapted for younger riders. With 20-inch wheels, hydraulic front forks, and adjustable seat height, it offers a more stable and mature riding experience than smaller, basic electric balance bikes.

The electric motor integrated directly into the rear wheel provides a nominal power of 600 W and a peak power of up to 1,200 W. The drive does not use a chain, eliminating the need for lubrication, cleaning, and regular tensioning.

Power is available smoothly and without the need for shifting gears or operating a clutch. This allows the rider to focus primarily on balance, correct riding position, throttle control, line selection, and safe braking.

A great advantage of the E·20Y model is its three speed modes with a maximum speed limit of 15, 30 or 45 km/h. The settings can be gradually adjusted according to the rider's experience and the nature of the area where the motorcycle is used.

The battery with a voltage of 36 V and a capacity of 10 Ah offers a total nominal energy of 360 Wh. The reference range is approximately 12 to 17 km, or 50 to 80 minutes of riding, depending on the selected mode, rider's weight, terrain, and riding style.

Weighing only 19 kg including the battery, it facilitates handling, changes of direction, and maneuverability in place. The adjustable seat height, ranging from 580 to 680 mm, further allows the ergonomics to be adapted to the height and proportions of the specific rider.

The electric drive operates quietly, produces no local exhaust emissions, and does not use a hot exhaust system. Compared to a small internal combustion motorcycle, there is no engine starting, fuel refilling, gear shifting, or clutch operation.

The Arctic Leopard E·20Y is intended exclusively for use off public roads. The offered off-road version is not intended for registration or for riding on roads, sidewalks, cycle paths, or other publicly accessible roads.

Three Speed Modes for Gradual Skill Development

The Arctic Leopard E·20Y allows electronic limitation of the maximum speed in three stages. The motorcycle can thus be adapted to the rider's current abilities, and power can be progressively made available as they gain confidence and experience.

The lowest mode limits the maximum speed to approximately 15 km/h. It is suitable for initial familiarization with the motorcycle, practicing throttle control, starting, turning, and safe stopping.

The middle mode, with a maximum speed of approximately 30 km/h, is intended for riders who reliably master basic controls and want to continue practicing riding on more varied terrain or on a closed training track.

The highest mode allows speeds of up to 45 km/h. This setting is intended only for more experienced riders who safely control acceleration, braking, changes of direction, and correct reactions in unexpected situations.

Before enabling a higher speed mode, the rider must demonstrate that they can reliably control the motorcycle in the previous setting. Even the lowest mode does not replace adult supervision, a safe environment, and appropriate protective gear.

1.2 kW Power for Significantly More Dynamic Riding

The E·20Y's motor provides a nominal power of 600 W and a peak power of up to 1,200 W. Compared to basic electric balance bikes, it offers more significant acceleration and greater power reserve for riding on unpaved surfaces.

The electric motor responds instantly to throttle grip movement. The rider does not have to wait for the internal combustion engine to rev up, operate a clutch, or shift gears.

The smooth response of the drive helps in practicing precise power delivery. At the same time, it is necessary to consider that in the highest mode, it is already a fast machine whose performance must match the abilities and experience of the specific rider.

Therefore, the first rides should always take place in the lowest mode, on a flat and clear area without obstacles, traffic, other people, or other riders.

HUB Motor Without Chain

The electric motor is integrated directly into the rear wheel hub. This solution, known as a HUB motor, transmits power directly to the wheel without the use of a chain, sprockets, and traditional mechanical gears.

This eliminates the need for regular chain lubrication, cleaning, and tensioning. The drive is quiet, compact, and low-maintenance, which is particularly practical for a child's motorcycle used for regular training and recreational riding.

The absence of a chain also reduces the number of moving parts in the rear wheel area. This makes the design simple, and there is no risk of contact with a greasy chain during normal handling.

Nevertheless, the motorcycle must be regularly inspected. Before each ride, it is necessary to check the brakes, tire condition, and the fastening of the wheels, handlebars, seat, and other important connections.

Only 19 kg for Easy Maneuverability

One of the biggest advantages of the E·20Y model is its low weight. The motorcycle weighs only 19 kg including the battery, which makes it easy to change direction, stop, ride slowly, and maneuver in place.

Low weight helps reduce physical fatigue for young riders and allows them to focus on correct riding technique. In case of loss of balance, a lighter machine is generally easier to catch than a classic children's internal combustion motorcycle.

The lightweight construction is also practical for transportation. The E·20Y can be more easily loaded into a car or moved between storage and the training area. However, loading and carrying the motorcycle should always be done by an adult.

The suitability of the E·20Y model cannot be determined solely by age. Decisive factors include body height, leg length, physical strength, ability to reach all controls, and previous riding experience.

Before the first ride, it is necessary to verify that the rider can safely reach the handlebars and brake levers, keep the motorcycle upright, and stop reliably.

Large 20" Wheels for Stability and Off-Road Capability

The E·20Y model is equipped with 20-inch magnesium rims and 20 × 2.60" tires. The larger wheel diameter supports stability, calmer directional control, and easier overcoming of minor unevenness.

Compared to smaller wheels, the 20-inch configuration copes better with uneven surfaces, roots, minor potholes, or transitions between different types of terrain.

Wider tires provide a larger contact area and appropriate stability on grass, dirt, and prepared unpaved tracks. However, actual grip always depends on the surface condition, weather, wear, and correct tire inflation.

Therefore, before each ride, it is necessary to check tire pressure, their overall condition, and the fastening of both wheels.

Hydraulic Front Forks

The front part of the motorcycle uses hydraulic adjustable forks, which help absorb bumps and improve front wheel control on unpaved surfaces.

Suspension supports stability when riding over minor potholes and bumps and reduces the amount of shocks transmitted to the handlebars. This allows the rider to better maintain their chosen line and correct body position.

The chassis of the E·20Y model is primarily designed for learning, training, and recreational riding in lighter terrain. The speed and riding style must always match the rider's abilities, the surface condition, and the motorcycle's design purpose.

The motorcycle is not intended for excessively high jumps, hard landings, or extreme motocross handling that does not correspond to its size and design.

36 V / 10 Ah Battery

The E·20Y is equipped with a battery with a voltage of 36 V and a capacity of 10 Ah. The total nominal energy of the battery is approximately 360 Wh.

The reference range is approximately 12 to 17 km, or 50 to 80 minutes of riding. Actual endurance depends on the selected speed mode, rider's weight, ambient temperature, route profile, surface, and frequency of acceleration.

Quiet riding in a lower mode on a firm and flat surface will consume less energy than frequent starts, uphill riding, on soft ground, or when using the highest speed.

The stated charging time is approximately 60 to 90 minutes. The actual time may vary depending on the discharge level, temperature, battery's technical condition, and charging conditions.

The battery must only be charged with the designated charger and under adult supervision. Charging must take place in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials and at a temperature corresponding to the manufacturer's instructions.

To maintain good battery condition, it is not advisable to leave the motorcycle completely discharged for extended periods or to store it in environments with extremely high or low temperatures.

Quiet Operation Without Clutch and Gear Shifting

The electric drive starts without starting an internal combustion engine and does not generate the typical noise of small gasoline motorcycles during operation. The quiet operation facilitates communication between the rider and the supervising adult and also places less burden on the surroundings.

The rider does not need to use a clutch or shift gears. This allows them to focus primarily on balance, correct gaze direction, smooth acceleration control, line selection, and safe brake use.

The absence of an internal combustion engine also means zero local exhaust emissions and no hot exhaust system. This eliminates the need for refilling gasoline, changing engine oil, and other common tasks associated with a small internal combustion engine.

However, quiet electric drive does not mean that the motorcycle can be used without restrictions or anywhere. It is always necessary to respect the landowner, the rules of the specific area, the surrounding environment, and applicable legal regulations.

Young Rider Safety First

The Arctic Leopard E·20Y is not a toy, but an electrically powered off-road machine with a maximum speed of up to 45 km/h. Its use therefore requires appropriate rider abilities, a safe space, and direct supervision by a responsible adult.

Suitability for a specific rider cannot be determined by age alone. Decisive factors include body height, physical strength, ability to reach controls, riding confidence, and previous experience with a bicycle, electric balance bike, or motorcycle.

The rider must always use appropriate protective gear, especially a properly fitting full-face or motocross helmet, gloves, sturdy footwear, long clothing, and suitable knee, elbow, and torso protectors.

The first rides must take place in 15 km/h mode on a flat, clear, and sufficiently large area free of cars, pedestrians, animals, fixed obstacles, and other riders.

Before allowing higher speeds, the rider must reliably master starting, smooth riding, turning, using brakes, safe stopping, and correct reactions in case of loss of stability.

Before each ride, an adult must check the technical condition of the motorcycle, especially brake function, tires, handlebar and wheel fastenings, control condition, and sufficient battery charge.

Intended Exclusively Off Public Roads

The Arctic Leopard E·20Y is not homologated for use on public roads. It is not a road vehicle intended for registration and cannot be used in general public traffic.

The motorcycle is primarily intended for closed children's training tracks, private off-road areas, fenced private properties, and other places where the operation of this type of vehicle is explicitly permitted.

The motorcycle must not be used on public roads, local roads, sidewalks, cycle paths, pedestrian paths, or any other publicly accessible roads.

This restriction applies to all three speed modes. Setting the maximum speed to 15 or 30 km/h does not, in itself, grant permission for riding in public traffic.

Private land ownership alone does not automatically mean that a motorcycle can be operated on it. The consent of the owner or operator is always required, along with adherence to applicable legal regulations, local restrictions, and the rules of the specific area.
